Wright’s Home Hardware Prestwick is the winner of a Bake Off window display competition recently held by buying and marketing group Home Hardware (Scotland).
The contest was judged by Nick Squires, managing director of supplier George East (Housewares). He said: “The window display is nicely framed and clearly conveys the baking message well, with a selection of related products covering preparation, baking and serving. And the bunting is fun and pertinent – without obscuring the products.’
The staff were rewarded with a food hamper full of goodies for their achievement.
Second place was awarded to Mitchells Home Hardware in Banchory and third place went to Wright’s Home Hardware in Forres.
Home Hardware (Scotland) has 60-plus independently-owned member shops throughout Scotland and the north of England.
