Witt UK & Ireland has recruited Geoff Johnson as sales manager UK as part of its ongoing investment in the UK market.
Geoff has an extensive background in the consumer electronics industry, having held key role across the technology sector with brands including Samsung, JVC, Imagination Technologies and New Dawn Innovations.
He said: “This is a hugely exciting time to be joining Witt. The team has already worked hard on engaging retailers and consumers alike in the Witt story and the amazing range of innovative products in our range.
“Working with organisations like Sirius [an electrical appliance and kitchen retail buying group] and CIH [a buying and marketing group, part of Euronics] to support independent retailers is one of my priorities for 2017.”
Witt UK market manager Bo Simonsen added: “We’re delighted to have Geoff on board. His wealth of experience in the sector will be a huge asset to our company as we continue to bring innovative, high quality ranges to the UK market, and strive to deliver the very best service and support for retailers.”
Founded in 1993, Witt supplies the iRobot range of robot floorcare products as well as own-brand products including the Juicepresso, Mycook Touch and a range of hobs and hoods. In 2012, the Danish-based company opened the gate to two new markets: England and Ireland.
