Robert Welch Designs has won a prestigious international award from the up-market US retailer of home furnishings and gourmet cookware, Williams-Sonoma.
The Gloucestershire-based kitchen knives and cutlery supplier claimed the Quality Focus award as part of the Williams-Sonoma Vendor Appreciation award programme, which recognises the retailer’s partners in seven different categories.
Said Robert Welch managing director Rupert Welch: “Williams-Sonoma has a reputation for its strong commitment to quality and customer service. This is demonstrated in all its product areas, so competition for these awards is very tough.
“We’re delighted that we not only meet their exacting standards but have won this coveted award for excelling with the quality of our products.”
The award was presented by Richard Harvey, brand president of Williams-Sonoma, at a ceremony held in Milan.
Robert Welch Designs was founded in 1962 and is still family-run. It is now an international brand with an extensive range of exclusive products including award-winning kitchen knives and utensils, cutlery and other tableware.
