Value retailer Wilkinson is trialling three new ranges of tableware in two of its stores.

The Worksop and Broadmarsh stores have exclusive access to the ranges prior to being rolled out nationwide next year.

The Poppy collection features a red floral design on white porcelain, with prices starting at £1.49. The Salva porcelain range has a black and grey floral print and is priced from 99p, while Bamboo features a hand-painted bamboo leaf design on stoneware.

Wilkinson delivered both sales and profit growth in the year to February 2 2007, with turnover up at over £1,455m and an increase in pre-tax profit to £49m. The company, which has 287 stores, opened 13 new outlets during the period.
