What More UK secures new contracts in Europe

Now exporting to 73 countries, 2019 has been the busiest year to date for What More UK, with the Lancashire housewares manufacturer achieving double digit growth.

Andy Riley, sales director of What More UK, commented: “The last 12 months have been something of a whirlwind. We started producing the Proctor and Gamble Flash range of cleaning products in the UK in January 2018 and sales for these skyrocketed, without ever coming down. It’s fantastic and we are incredibly thankful for the support from all our customers.

“A £25 million investment in new buildings, new infrastructure and new machines all sitting proudly in their 500,000sq ft facility means we can continue delivering high quality, affordable products whilst keeping up with the ever-growing demand.

“The new machines have been well received by the team. The state-of-the-art equipment is perfectly tailored to meet the requirements of our customers and the growth we are expecting over the next few years.”

He added: “What we call the Flash range in the UK is known as Meister Proper in Austria and Germany. And in France, the Netherlands, and Belgium it’s Monsieur Propre. We launched the range in these countries last year.

“One of the most interesting products to be added to the range recently is a mop with an extendable handle and multiple interchanging heads. These combine to create 18 different product configurations.

“We will be continuously expanding throughout the EU and the rest of the world. An incredible amount of time and skill goes into the creation of our products. We do not want the increasing demand of What More UK products to result in lower quality. So the investment of machinery and infrastructure has enabled us to continue producing the required volumes and achieve the expected growth without sacrificing any of our high levels of service with extra demands.”

What More UK is showing Monsieur Propre at the Ambiente show in Frankfurt (hall 12.1 stand C89) next month.
