It may have escaped your notice, and you may even be glad that it has, but tomorrow, September 22, is National Wear a Tea Cosy on Your Head Day.
Still just enough time, then, to capitalise on the event by putting your entire stock of tea cosies in the window to attract all those customers desperate to participate, and to highlight it for the benefit of those not yet aware of its existence.
There is actually a serious purpose to NWATCOYHD, which was launched last year by fashion chain White Stuff. The company aims to raise funds for its White Stuff Foundation charity by encouraging people to get involved with the event in various ways. Last year its efforts achieved a total of £26,000.
