Villeroy & Boch is set to launch a new international standalone brand, Vivo, at Spring Fair, offering innovative, quality tabletop lines aimed at the younger, aspirational, mid-market consumer.
Flexibility is the keynote of the Vivo brand, which provides multi-options and shorter ranges: lids double up as side plates, salad bowls as baking dishes and coffee cups as soup bowls. Many products also stack.
The first Vivo range is dominated by wavy lines and asymmetrical shapes. Bright, fun colours are teamed with quirky design elements such as the Happy Hands line, which features colourful handprints in red or green. This vibrant scheme is repeated in coordinating glassware and cutlery ranges.
The brand will be backed by a strong marketing programme, including national advertising this autumn and merchandising material.
