Swiss furniture company Vitra has opened its first UK ‘Home Accessories’ retail space in Selfridges.

Situated on the fourth floor of  the department store group’s flagship on Oxford Street in London, the dedicated area features the Vitra Accessories collection of design objects, accessories and textiles.

On offer are products from designers including Charles & Ray Eames, Alexander Girard, George Nelson, Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, Arik Levy, Michel Charlot and Hella Jongerius.

Selfridges home buying manager Geraldine James commented: “We’re very excited to be working with Vitra to present this beautiful new space. Their signature contemporary designs make a fantastic addition to our home and gifting destination on 4.”

The space is designed by Hamburg-based Studio Besau Marguerre and features the Vitra retail shelving system Kado.

Visitors will see some of the latest designs from Vitra such as Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec’s Nuage vases, Dot Pillows by Hella Jongerius, and multi-functional O-Tidy storage containers by Michel Charlot.
