Villeroy & Boch has laid out its plans for a major new consumer advertising campaign this year.
It will comprise full-page colour ads throughout the spring and autumn, starting in April.
The campaign will take in national newspaper supplements such as The Guardian Weekend and The Observer Food Monthly alongside quality food and home titles such as BBC Good Food, Sainsbury’s Magazine, Delicious and Olive. Key bridal titles Conde Nast Brides and You & Your Wedding will also be included.
Patrick Heeley, managing director of Villeroy & Boch Tableware in the UK said: “Despite the uncertain times, we believe now is the time to invest in the market, and continue to build Villeroy & Boch as the brand of consumer choice in the premium tableware segment.”
The company has also announced plans to open a new flagship room in top London store Harrods in March, which will provide a UK showcase for the brand’s full collection of tableware, cutlery, glassware and gifts in a dedicated setting.
