Typhoon signs major Asian collection deal with Macy’s

Macy’s, the world’s largest department store, is to stock Typhoon’s entire Asian collection.

Typhoon signs major Asian collection deal with Macy’s

Macy’s, which has 810 stores in 45 States, will showcase all 13 items within Typhoon’s autumn/winter Asian range, including its woks.

The deal came about as a result of a joint initiative between Typhoon in the UK and the US company Typhoon Plus.

Typhoon’s heritage lies in woks, but the company has since expanded its Asian kitchenware collection into bamboo steamers, sushi serve and prep sets, bamboo tools, chopping boards, chopsticks, placemats and, more recently, white porcelain bowls.

All products were designed and developed through the UK team.

Macy’s has stocked Typhoon products in the past, but not on such a scale.

Typhoon managing director Chris Stevens commented: “This is a fantastic achievement for Typhoon, and really goes to show the quality of Typhoon’s products when they’re desired by the world’s largest department store.”
