Montsoreau, which was set up last July by Tim Orlik, will be introducing Loveramics and Simply Tabletop, both of which have a strong design aesthetic.

Loveramics is a brand created by a long-established, Hong Kong-based Chinese manufacturer supplying major UK and USA good quality stores with own-brand lines. Loveramics was developed three years ago as its own brand.

“Using mainly European designers, Loveramics offers very unique design,” Orlik told HousewaresLive.net, “but design that still has wide appeal, to the mid and upper market levels. Quality is very good, with many of the ranges made as high-fired porcelain.

“Whilst most of the ranges are tableware, we have one very unique kitchenware ceramic range of mixing bowls, storage and accessories, called Tripod.”

He went on: “The interest in the whole Loveramics brand from retailers and the press is very strong, and since starting to distribute the brand last summer we’ve made very good progress, with launches in major stores all due later this year.”

With a similar story to Loveramics, Simply Tabletop is made by an established Thai manufacturer which, together with UK designers, is launching its own brand. The range is purely woodware and covers candle holder, placemats and contemporary salt and pepper grinders.

“Simply Tabletop will give a much-needed design boost to woodware products,” said Orlik.

Montsoreau is also acting as exclusive sales agent in the UK for Modern-Twist, an up-market tablemat company from the US. It will be showing in its own right at Spring Fair but Montsoreau will be selling the range going forward.
