Tweets and blogs help spread the Brabantia message

Brabantia is embracing social media in its communications by launching activity through a combination of coordinated online channels – a blog, Twitter, Facebook and Flickr.

Tweets and blogs help spread the Brabantia message

Designed to help communications with all its audiences, including national account retailers, independent stockists, consumers and employees, the initiative is intended to help ensure the brand listens to and engages with relevant discussions taking place online.

Said sales director David Slater: “The communication world is constantly evolving. The internet and social media services now give people far more open and participative relationships with their friends, family and colleagues, and this also extends to the products and brands they favour. Commercially it’s now about dialogue rather than the one way delivery of marketing messages.”

The new Brabantia blog, which can be seen at www.brabantialife.com, includes a range of hints, tips and comments on colour, design and domestic life, as well as news and information about Brabantia and its products.

The company is tweeting on Twitter as @BrabantiaLife and invites people to follow what’s being shared and discussed by signing up and joining in. There is also a Brabantia fan page at www.facebook.com/brabantialife where news and views are shared. And users can find and post images and videos at www.flickr.com/photos/brabantialife, the file-sharing site for Brabantia images.
