Located at Dukinfield – a town in Tameside, Greater Manchester- the facility will house an ever-growing product range which, along with its renowned Churrasco Collection of barbecue tools, includes the latest additions to its portfolio such as cookware, utensils and knife block sets.
Since entering the UK retail market three years ago, the company has been supplying UK customers from its large warehousing facility in Germany, where products are shipped from their manufacturing bases in Brazil. But now UK customers can benefit from this new facility.
Tramontina UK managing director Alexandre Frubel said: “Unlike many companies that have decided to move out of the UK due to the ongoing uncertainties over Brexit, Tramontina has decided to put down stronger roots in the UK.
“Over the last few years our UK business has grown considerably. We are passionate about customer service, and undertaking this new venture ensures we can offer an even better level of customer service and speedier order turnaround.”
Tramontina is a Brazilian company with a heritage dating back to 1911. The company, which produces around 18,000 product lines, has 11 factories, 8,000 employees and 16 international bases distributing to 120 countries.
