Tradestock was presented with the Small Employer of the Year Award at the Somerset Apprentice of the Year Award ceremony on March 14.
Tradestock MD Keith Nye said: “We are really delighted to receive this award as it’s a great compliment to the strengths of the Tradestock team, and a good endorsement of our business method. It’s incredibly rewarding to see these young people progress, where they are not only developing and realising their own potential but also making a positive contribution to the business.”
There were four employers’ categories, based on business size, and five apprentice categories for which 1,700 apprentices from Somerset were eligible for nomination.
Tradestock apprentice, Rachel Pearce, was nominated in two categories, coming runner-up in both. Rachel has been with the company for two years and has gained experience working with the design team as well as in administration, and is now working full time in a sales administration position, supporting the national account team.
