TICCuk takes on new brands

New distribution company TICCuk has announced that is now the UK distributor for four brands: Smiths Edgeware, Patisse, Gude and Banneton.

TICCuk takes on new brands

Smiths Edgeware (previously with ICTC Ltd) is already well established and well known in the UK for its wide range of specialist knife sharpeners. However TICCuk will also be launching Edgeware’s new range of kitchen graters and zesters at the Autumn Fair.

Patisse are a leading manufacturer of quality bakeware in Holland offering cake decorating accessories, and cookie cutters. Gude craftsmen produce fully forged handmade knives with wooden handles from a manufacturing base in Solingen, Germany. Finally, Banneton are professional bread proving baskets made from 100% natural fibres, which retain warmth during the proving process as well as absorbing moisture from the dough as required to ensure a loaf with a consistent, healthy, textured crust. All ranges will be exhibited at the Autumn Fair.

Meanwhile, Katie Marsh will be joining TICCuk to head up the office based sales operation. TICCuk Ltd was launched by Bruce Crane, the ex-managing director of housewares distributor ICTC, and is based in the Norfolk village of Ashwellthorpe. Bruce Crane joined kitchenware and tabletop supplier ICTC in 2008 but was made redundant in his role as managing director of the company at the end of February.

He was also, and remains, the co-owner of Loose’s Cookshop in Norwich, which is a silver winner in the Housewares Retail Innovation Awards 2012, organised by www.HousewaresLive.net and Housewares Magazine.
