Three more sponsors sign up for housewares event

Three more housewares suppliers have signed up to sponsor The Housewares Conference & Innovation Awards 2015: Polder Housewares UK, CleverstiX and T&G Woodware.

New to the UK, Polder Housewares UK aims to offer consumers an ever-growing assortment of home goods to make daily tasks easier, from timers, thermometers and kitchen scales to kitchen storage, laundry and bath products. The goods are sourced solely from US parent company Polder, which was established in New York in 1976.

CleverstiX is an award-winning CleverstiX child development cutlery invention, which uses an ergonomic chopsticks-style pincer design. It is designed to focus hand-eye co-ordination, increase dexterity and improve feeding habits. CleverstiX are suitable for all cuisines, from pasta, noodles and chips to fruit. They are endorsed by the Science Museum in London and feature Hello Kitty and Kung Fu Panda gift versions.

Established in 1975, T&G Woodware is celebrating its 40th anniversary in the housewares industry. T&G has a portfolio of more than 600 products including the award-winning CrushGrind Opticmills, the new Delia Online CrushGrind mills and the Sophie Conran for T&G board range. T&G says its products are ‘thoughtfully designed, responsibly sourced, exceptional quality – and designed in Britain’.

The trio join a prestigious roll call of names that have also agreed to sponsor the event including: international events company i2i Events Group that organises trade shows Spring Fair and Autumn Fair, and housewares suppliers Ethos, BergHOFF, GreenPan, Imperial, Maxwell & Williams, Creative Tops, La Cafetiere, Denby, DKB Household, Forma House, JWP, Magimix, Sabichi, Witt, ICTC, Haus, Zwilling J.A. Henckels and Spark Housewares.

Also on the list of sponsors are plus trade shows Exclusively Housewares 2015, Exclusively Electrical 2015 and Home show; multiple housewares retailer Lakeland, specialist PR consultancy PR Direct, industry charity The Rainy Day Trust, and trade associations BHETA (British Home Enhancement Trade Association) and IHA (International Housewares Association), which owns and operates the International Home + Housewares Show in Chicago.

Organised by Housewares Magazine and www.HousewaresLive.net, the annual event is now in its sixth year and will be held on April 22 at Selsdon Park in Croydon, Surrey.
