The Spicery launches ‘world’s first’ curry advent calendar

The Spicery is putting a curry twist on Christmas with the launch of what it claims is the world’s first curry advent calendar.

Every window in the double-sided Curry Legend advent calendar contains a recipe for a traditional Christmas dish such as turkey seekh kebabs and spicy apple chutney, vindaloo pigs in blankets, Brussels sprouts bhajis and jewelled jeera pilau rice.

The calendar is sold with four special Curry Legend blends, packaged in individual stackable storage tins, with enough of each blend included to make all 24 recipes. In addition there is a fifth stackable tin to store all the recipes in once the windows have been opened, for users to recreate favourites.

The Curry Legend advent calendar costs £29 (including free delivery!) and is available at www.thespicery.com or through online retailer www.Notonthehighstreet.com.

Bristol based company The Spicery sends fresh spices and blends by post around the world, for your own cooking or measured out to make simple recipes.
