The Big Feastival announces NEFF as ‘presenting partner’

Kitchen appliance manufacturer NEFF has been named as the ‘presenting partner’ for The Big Feastival in August.

Produced by global events company IMG, The Big Feastival is an annual three-day festival, hosted by Alex James and Jamie Oliver, that will be held in The Cotswolds from August 26-28.It brings together chefs, music acts, food and a host of children’s entertainment over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Under a three-year agreement, NEFF ‘headlines’ as the major domestic appliance partner for the event. With four dedicated onsite locations, NEFF has created a range of activities that aim to inspire Feastival goers and get them closer to their cooking.

Taking centre stage, The NEFF Big Kitchen will present celebrity cooks demonstrating their skills and techniques live on stage. In previous years, chefs such as Jamie Oliver, Monica Galetti, Mark Hix and Raymond Blanc have taken to the stage and this year’s line-up ‘promises not to disappoint.’ NEFF says.

For a more hands-on experience, Feastival-goers can head over to The NEFF Cookaholics Cookery School to learn how to create dishes using a range of cooking techniques, while The NEFF Kids’ Kitchen, will give live and interactive cookery classes to suit the whole family.

The NEFF Training Academy will also be in residence, where aspiring chefs and passionate foodies can get involved with cooking demonstrations.

Jo Eyers, group marketing manager at NEFF, commented: “We’re thrilled to be involved with such an exhilarating event and The Big Feastival presents us with the perfect opportunity to showcase our innovative range of NEFF appliances and celebrate with our community of cookaholics. We’re passionate about local produce and smaller slow-food advocates, and The Big Feastival is perfectly in line with our recent global food producer campaigns.

“From the olive groves of Spain, to the local farmers exhibiting at The Big Feastival, a NEFF kitchen is all about fresh ingredients with true provenance. With a varied and engaging programme of cooking classes and demonstrations running across the festival, we look forward to inspiring and delighting cooks of all ages and abilities.”

Jennifer Noble, events director at The Big Feastival, said: “It’s exciting for us to have NEFF as our partner for The Big Feastival and we have some fantastic plans in place for on-site activities. Thousands of foodies will be visiting the site over the three days and with cooking at the heart of both The Big Feastival and the NEFF brand, we’re excited to explore the capabilities of this partnership.”
