Dr Agulnik told how he was inspired to create the Banana Guard, a banana-shaped case that protects the fruit on the go, and how its success has rapidly spread across the globe.

The product has even started a YouTube craze, with many videos posted by people testing the effectiveness of the product – from driving over Banana Guards in their car, to throwing Banana Guards from the top of high-rise buildings.

The largest markets for the Banana Guard are the UK and Sweden.
