Tesco is giving away free gift boxes of festive treats to 60,000 shoppers.
The ‘Christmas Night In’ box includes an Options Belgian Hot Chocolate Sachet, Options Mint Madness Sachet, Magical Reindeer Food, Tesco Christmas pudding, Thornton’s Chocolate collection and Tesco Finest fruit flapjack cookies (although products may vary by region).
Under the promotion, which runs until December 19, selected customers across the UK will receive their gift box with their regular online grocery shop.
‘Christmas Night In’ forms part of from the supermarket chain’s Surprise and Delight initiative, where online customers are given free products as a thank you at different times throughout the year.
Previous gifts have included children’s activity packs during the school holidays and chocolates around Valentine’s Day. One million customers have received a Surprise and Delight treat so far this year.
Adrian Letts, managing director of Tesco Online, said: “This is just one of the ways we are surprising and thanking our loyal customers.
“We know customers can find Christmas stressful and that’s why this is the perfect indulgent treat to enjoy as you write those Christmas cards and wrap those presents.”
