Tefal unveils ‘one pot wonder’ for connected homes

Tefal has launched an all-in-one product with integrated Bluetooth technology.

Called Cook4Me Connect, this new ‘one pot wonder’ allows you to control the device from your smartphone or tablet.

The appliance comes with over 60 pre-programmed recipes, which include step-by-step guides detailing the exact ingredients and measurements needed for each dish, via its LED display.

Tefal says this feature is further enhanced thanks to Bluetooth and a dedicated app. The Bluetooth lets you send additional recipes straight to the Tefal Cook4Me Connect, while the app gives you advanced demonstrations on how to cook them, with full images and videos.

By adding the Bluetooth function, Tefal says it has made it possible to keep up to speed and in control of the cooking process from anywhere in the house. The app lets you personalise the recipes, comment on your favourites and suggest alterations and enhancements to suit your taste. It also allows you to share recipes with friends and family and update your shopping list directly from your mobile or tablet.

Cook4Me Connect is essentially an electric pressure cooker, which will keep food warm for up to 90 minutes after cooking. The user can pre-programme the machine up to 15 hours in advance. It has a six litre capacity non-stick removable ceramic bowl and a removable steaming basket.

The new Tefal Cook4Me Connect is available now with a RRP of £299.99.
