Tefal has launched a £400,000 television campaign to drive frypan sales over the Pancake Day period.
The ads are running now through to February 15, taking in the big day itself on February 12.
The 10-second ad features Tefal’s Superior frypan, which in addition to the Thermospot optimum cooking temperature indicator boasts Tefal’s latest Intensium coating. It is fully metal utensil safe and has been proven to last up to twice as long as other frypans’ brands.
The campaign is airing nationally and on a wide range of channels, including ITV1, ITV2, C4, C5, Sky1, Sky Living and Ulster TV.
Stefan Kaczmarczyk, cookware marketing manager at Tefal brand owner Groupe SEB, says Pancake Day “continues to be the most significant themed promotion in the cookware calendar”.
