Tefal’s Intensium non-stick coating is set to receive a boost from a £1m national TV advertising campaign, which kicks off later this month.

Using a highly visual 20 and 10 second ad mix, the campaign will be broadcast on a wide range of TV channels from September 21 to October 11.

The push will focus on the claim (which Tefal says can be validated via independent research) that “Intensium lasts twice as long as most other non-stick frypan brands”. Featuring the new Tefal Superior cookware range, the ad will highlight one of the key benefits of Intensium which is that it is fully metal utensil safe.

Stefan Kaczmarczyk, Groupe SEB cookware marketing manager, said: “Tefal is famed for its expertise in non-stick coating and innovations such as Thermospot. Intensium is very much another step forward and demonstrates Tefal’s continuing commitment to understanding cookware shopper wants and delivering innovative solutions designed to meet such shopper needs”.
