Tefal launches the three-second cuppa

Groupe SEB says its new Tefal Quick-Cup, which heats water in just three seconds, is set to make the traditional kettle redundant.
Patented technology lies at the heart of the new product: at the push of a button water is sent up a heating element in a spiral movement, heating it instantly as it travels. Heating just enough water for one mug of tea or coffee, the product also provides an energy saving of up to 65% as most people fill a standard kettle right up regardless of how much water is needed. The Quick-Cup features a water filter system with cartridge, stainless steel control panel, cool-touch body and 1.5l removable tank and is dishwasher safe.
