Tefal has a slice of the healthy-eating action

The Tefal Fresh Express is a new aid to healthy eating from Groupe SEB, grating and slicing ingredients in minutes.

The kitchen appliance – which is the first in a new Tefal food preparation range for 2012 – is designed to do away with the effort of manual food preparation, making light work of preparing fruit, slicing vegetables and grating cheese.

The product comes with five separate cone attachments for thick slicing, fine slicing, coarse shredding, fine shredding and cheese grating. To use, you select one of the attachments, place the ingredients into the spout and the gratings or slices are quickly produced.

The Fresh Express’s compact design makes for easy storage, and all the attachments – which are dishwasher safe – fit neatly onto the appliance. The French-made product has a pearlescent red body and multi-coloured attachments.

For the launch of the Fresh Express, Tefal has linked up with the British Heart Foundation to raise funds. The company has a target of £50,000 to achieve through consumers purchasing a Fresh Express and making donations.
