Tefal is announcing the launch of ‘Fresh Week’ – an initiative to encourage families to exchange convenience and ready-made meals for fresh unprocessed food for a week, from Monday May 13 to Sunday May 19.

British TV actress of ‘Cold Feet’ fame and best-selling cookery writer Fay Ripley is officially supporting ‘Fresh Week’ in her new role as a Tefal ambassador.
As a celebrity mum who advocates healthy cooking with her family, Fay said: ‘With stories in the news about hidden ingredients and high salt or sugar content in processed foods, it’s no wonder as parents we worry about what our families are eating. Fresh Week is about finding easy ways to get more fresh fruit and vegetables into mealtimes and knowing what we’re putting on the table.’
Tefal is calling on the British public to take part in the challenge and pledge their support to the campaign by signing up at www.tefalfreshexpress.co.uk. Here, people can make a digital declaration to eat only fresh food for a week. The microsite will also provide recipes, tips and advice on how to incorporate fresh food in a quick, easy and economic way, plus the chance to win Tefal goodies and fresh fruit and veg from Riverford Organic.
‘Fresh Week’ is being launched with Tefal’s Fresh Express range of food prep products, designed to chop, slice, shred and grate a variety of fruit, vegetables, nuts and cheese. The Tefal Fresh Express range includes: Tefal Fresh Express, Tefal Fresh Express Plus and Tefal Fresh Express Max.
