Tefal ActiFry goes back on TV

The Tefal ActiFry range of low-fat fryers will be promoted in a £700,000 TV advertising campaign scheduled to run during the key Easter sales period.

Tefal ActiFry goes back on TV

From March 23 to April 19, a 20-second ad will be broadcast on a wide range of TV channels including ITV1, Channel 4, Channel 5, Daybreak and ‘Multichannel’.

The campaign aims to demonstrate how ActiFry is the healthiest and most effective way of frying, allowing the user to cook oil free chips from frozen. Or, if fresh potatoes are preferred, the user adds one spoonful of oil for chips, with only 3% fat.

This push also heralds the launch of the latest member of the ActiFry range: the new ActiFry Express XL (SRP £249.99). This fryer will cook over 1.5kg of vegetables, curries, chips and more using very little oil and within just 30 minutes which, Tefal claims, makes it the quickest low-fat fryer on the UK market.

Groupe SEB marketing manager Dominik Pytel said “Tefal is famed for launching revolutionary products which change the market landscape. The ActiFry range continues to be a perfect example of this innovative strategy, combining healthy cooking with brilliant versatility. Retailers need to maximise this TV campaign at point-of-purchase.”
