Swan Products is the latest name to join the ranks of the British Home Enhancement Trade Association (BHETA).
The Stoke-on-Trent company says it is developing and marketing the brand with original Swan employees “who are keen to see a return to the times when a Swan-branded product was ubiquitous in every UK home”. Joining BHETA is seen as a step on the way to re-establishing the company’s presence in the housewares market.
Commenting on the Swan sign-up, BHETA’s housewares sector director Will Jones said: “BHETA has received a significant number of new member enquiries since the introduction of services aimed at driving member sales – in particular, the opportunities to network with retailers via our forums and most particularly our ‘meet the buyers’ days. The recent launch of BHETA CONNEX that facilitates export and distributor partnerships is another exciting development that is already bearing fruit.
“We are delighted to see these initiatives attracting new members and delighted to have a fantastic brand like Swan on board.”
