Support from Rainy Day Trust

Following last week’s announcement that the energy price cap will rise once again in the Autumn, this time adding a further £800 to the cost of an average family’s utility bills, Rainy Day Trust would like to re-iterate that it can send out an energy-saving pack to anyone that works with or for the home improvement sector, and who is struggling to meet their current bills and worried about future ones.

Rainy Day Trust can send out free LED lightbulbs, eco shower heads and radiator reflectors, plus hints and tips on reducing energy usage that combined should reduce bills by up to £250 a year. When you also look at rising inflation and other pressures, then applying for this help is a no-brainer.

Chief Executive Officer Bryan Clover says: “Please encourage your teams to apply now – every month that they wait just adds to their bills. We can have packs in the post within a day or so of receiving an application. It is all confidential.”
