Housewares Business-to-business magazine for housewares retailers and their suppliers
The Cookshop and Housewares Association (CHA) Village will once again be a major feature within the Kitchen and Dining section in Hall 2 of the Autumn Fair.
Held from September 1 to 4 at the NEC in Birmingham, the Autumn Fair is one of the biggest trade shows in the retail calendar. This year’s event will attract more than 1,600 exhibitors showing wares for Christmas 2013 and beyond.
The CHA Village comprises of the CHA Café – a lounge area with a bar and seating – and a number of exhibitors from bira direct, the central buying and invoicing subsidiary company of the British Independent Retailers Association (bira).
Suppliers signed up so far for the CHA Village include: Rayware, PHA KitchEssentials, Kitchen Kapers, Yormii, Cottage Delight, Fosseway Trading, Dartington Crystal, Tradestock, Anniversary House, Hahn Trading and Utensa. All these suppliers will be offering exclusive show discounts to CHA members who buy through bira direct.
The CHA Café will be a hive of activity throughout the show as the CHA staff will be on hand to chat to members, tell them about the latest CHA news and also recruit new members.
Also taking place on the Monday of the show at the Café will be the CHA @ Autumn Fair Awards that will reward some of the products deemed best by the CHA judging panel.
The new look ‘Cook’s Companion’ will also be launched at the show on Sunday 1 September. This brochure, which features a capsule collection of specialist products, gives retailers the chance to have their very own branded booklet, giving customers access to the most popular and innovative housewares items for the year ahead.
