Steamer Trading managing director Ben Phillips will be the principal retail guest speaker at a British Home Enhancement Trade Association open forum later this month.
The cookshop chain’s top man will be sharing his views on the current market, as well as talking about his expansion plans and the role of the internet in an increasingly competitive marketplace.
Also on the speaker line-up for the members-only day is Vicki Bailey from Delphinius, who provides expertise in developing people and business through training, one-to-one coaching, mentoring and the development of working environments and culture. Amongst Bailey’s recent clients is John Lewis.
Members will also hear from new BHETA service provider Phocas Software on its award-winning business intelligence tool that allows the user to access all of their data, by any criteria, in any order and in any combination instantly. Phocas is currently working with a number of BHETA members.
Finally, Simon Boyd will be providing a final update on the Exclusively Housewares show coming up in June.
The open forum will take place on Thursday March 21 from 10am at Federation House, 10 Vyse Street, Birmingham.
