Emap Connect has announced the appointment of Louise Young to managing director of its Home & Gift exhibition portfolio – comprising Spring Fair International and Autumn Fair International.
Young, whose appointment is effective from March 1, is 42 and has over 20 years’ experience within exhibitions, operating across a wide range of retail shows.
For the last two years she has been deputy to former managing director Alison Jackson, focussing her efforts on strategy and running Autumn Fair and the home, kitchen and greetings sections at Spring Fair.
“I’m delighted to be heading up the home and gift portfolio,” commented Young on her appointment. “This has been an extraordinary year for retail and going forward we will look to work even closer with our customers to help them maximise their business opportunities.”
