Tom Kerridge will be appearing in person at trade event Home & Gift, held from July 17 to July 20 in Harrogate.

Tom is the host of BBC’s ‘Bake Off: Crème De La Crème’ and owns the only pub in the UK, The Hand & Flowers in Marlow, to be awarded with two Michelin stars.

The celebrity chef will be giving a presentation during the show’s Great Northern Retail Forum with Matt Hopkins, managing director of The Great British Exchange.

On Monday July 18, the pair will be telling the story behind their new range of British-made cook and homeware range. Visitors to the show will be able to learn about the inspiration behind the range and why the range has been exclusively produced in conjunction with British manufacturers.

The Tom Kerridge Range will be unveiled at Harrogate and is due to launch to the consumer market in the autumn. It includes knives (from Samuel Staniforth in Sheffield), pans (U Group, Birmingham) ceramics (Sytch Farm, Shrewsbury), wood (Hampson Wood, London), textiles (Lantex, Accrington) and a knife sharpener (Catra, Sheffield).

Matt said: “When the opportunity was presented to take part in The Great Northern Retail Forum, we knew it was the perfect setting in which to talk to retailers about the new Tom Kerridge Range.

“I’m really excited to share the story of the range, from how we’ve used Denim Micarta in the unique handles of the knives to the hand-finishing techniques used in the production of the enamelware. This really is a range that everyone, from the makers to the end-users, can be proud of.

“We’ve worked closely with Tom to create an honest collection of products which celebrates Tom’s knowledge as a professional chef, as well as what can be achieved by master craftspeople in the UK.”

Tom said: “I’m so proud to be a part of this incredible project, encapsulating and helping to drive forward Great British manufacturing from all around the UK. Everybody involved has the same beliefs and understanding of what the products should represent: quality, functionality, longevity, and above all else, British.”

Tom and Matt will be sitting down at 1.30pm on Monday July 18 at The Great Northern Retail Forum. Tom will then visit The Great British Exchange’s stand (DP2-35) where the full range will be displayed and visitors can purchase a signed copy of Tom’s book, “Tom’s Table”.
