See Tom Kerridge at Home & Gift Buyers’ Festival

Celebrity chef Tom Kerridge is set to make a special appearance at The Home & Gift Buyers’ Festival, which kicks off on Sunday (July 17).

The four-day event, which takes place in the Yorkshire town of Harrogate, will feature thousands of products from over 800 exhibitors (including over 250 new brands) across four sectors: giftware, jewellery & fashion, interiors & accessories and greetings & stationery.

A highlight is The Great Northern Forum, held in partnership with The Giftware Association in Hall H, upstairs in the heart of the HIC (Harrogate International Centre). This is a three-day seminar programme that promises to offer ‘invaluable lessons to help your business thrive’.

The keynote speakers for 2016 are:

-David Green, retail industry manager, Google (SUNDAY JULY 17 12pm).

David will give an overview of how the UK’s home and gifting market is changing online and how your business’ agility – and not size – can allow you to win ‘the moments that matter’ for your consumers.

-Professional chef and TV presenter Tom Kerridge (MONDAY JULY 18 1.30pm).

Tom will discuss his passion for British manufacturing and describe the craftsmanship behind his new housewares range, which will be launched at the show

-Katherine Owen Fowler, DM Fashion & VM, John Lewis Partnership York (TUESDAY July 19 1.30pm).

Katherine will provide an overview of the ways in which John Lewis effectively uses merchandising and display to inspire customers.

Organiser Clarion Events said: “This year’s Home & Gift is all about ‘new, bigger, better’, creating an exceptional buying experience that will bring you exceptional results. Whether you have been joining us in Harrogate for years or this is your first time, you’ll find a fantastic range of brands and products, and have a great few days out of the office!’
