Celebrated designer Sebastian Conran spent plenty of time on the Nogent stand during February’s Ambiente show talking about the new Profile knife range he has designed in collaboration with the French manufacturer.

The Profile range is distributed in the UK by Falcon Products, which launched it at Spring Fair the week before. However, the Frankfurt show was the stage for the European and worldwide launch by Nogent.

The range comprises seven knives, with handles that combine injection-moulded polymer with an insert of solid walnut wood.

Talking about his collaboration, Sebastian Conran explains: “This range is a successful blend of beautiful materials and functional innovation with tangible benefits for the chef. When invited by Nogent to work with them on this range I was greatly impressed by their Affidenté serration technology. The added advantage of never needing to sharpen the blades made me all the more enthusiastic to work on this project.”
