Independent housewares specialist The Good Cookshop in Dundee is pulling down the shutters in January.

In a message posted on Facebook on December 16, the retailer announced a “massive closing down sale, up to 75% off”.

An earlier post on November 8 said: “All stock must go. Come in store for huge discounts on branded cookware.”

Opened in December 2010, the Good Cookshop is located at 11 Panmure Street, just outside the city’s Wellgate Shopping Centre.

Brands stocked include Bodum, Circulon, Cole & Mason, Cuisinart, Dexam, Eddingtons, Gaggia, Global, Good Grips, Jamie Oliver, Joseph Joseph, Kitchen Craft, Le Creuset, Meyer, Prestige, Raymond Blanc, Salter, Stellar, Simplehuman and Zeal.
