The withdrawal of a set of six coffee glasses has been ordered following the discovery that they can shatter while in use.
The Barista glasses from Belgium-based company Durobor have insufficient thermal shock resistance and can break when filled with hot liquids, scalding the user. One incident has been reported.
The glasses are made of tempered glass and sized 34 cl – 12 oz. They are type 8795/34 and model number 5410808103578. Country of origin is unknown.
