Sainsbury’s and Channel 4 have come together to launch a new daily television cooking show.

Sainsbury's and Channel 4 partner for new cookery show

Called What’s Cooking? From the Sainsbury’s Kitchen, it will run on Channel 4 every weekday lunchtime from late February for a planned run of up to 13 weeks. Along with celebrity guests, well-known chefs will join the show to cook up recipes to suit every budget and taste.

Every day the programme will feature at least three recipes using Sainsbury’s products alongside other ingredients, which, says Sainsbury’s, “will be integrated in a seamless and ground-breaking way”.

The show will air from a purpose-built, interactive studio within a Sainsbury’s store and with a studio audience. Viewers at home will be able to get involved and ask questions through Twitter and Facebook.

The presenters will be actress and presenter Lisa Faulkner, who won Celebrity MasterChef in 2010, and former GMTV presenter Ben Shephard.
