Royal VKB’s Jar Tops, which allow the reuse of old jars, have won a 2010 Green Good Design Award.
The range comprises a cocoa shaker cap, sugar shaker cap, long-handled cap, creamer cap and oil and vinegar cap. To transform an old jar into a useful new product you simply replace the original lid with the required Jar Top.
The screw fitting of the Jar Tops – designed by Jorre van Ast – is universal, allowing them to fit onto any kind of old jar.
The Green Good Design Award is run by The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies and The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design. It aims to highlight the importance of sustainable design and those companies producing it.
