Shrager is well known for her appearances on television, and is currently featuring in her own series on ITV1, Rosemary Shrager’s School for Cooks.

She has also become familiar throughout the housewares industry as the face of National Baking Week.

The Housewares Conference, launched to widespread acclaim this year, takes place in 2009 on April 1 at London’s prestigious One Whitehall Place.

It promises its retailer and supplier delegates a day packed with sessions that will provide invaluable facts, predictions, inspiration and guidance – all tailor-made for housewares businesses.

Along with Shrager, the full speaker line-up now comprises Sir Terence Conran, Waitrose home buyer Christian Haas, owner of celebrated Norwich cookshop Loose’s Bruce Crane, Harrods home director David Miller, food writer and critic Charles Campion and managing director of Delicious magazine publisher, Seamus Geoghegan.
