Former Creative Tops sales director Rob Blackburn launched a new business – Mayburn Consulting – on November 1.
Rob left Creative Tops in April after a 15-year career with the housewares supplier and is now managing director of his new venture, which specialises in sales, marketing, product development and sourcing from around the world.
Mayburn Consulting’s mission statement is: ‘to enhance and grow business through creative and ethical means, by leaving nothing to chance and bringing new life to business – by investing time, experience and good old-fashioned hard work.’
Rob said his philosophy is that “business should be fun as well as productive, with strong, creative, motivated management”. He added: “For a one-off fee (excluding expenses), we can come along for a week or longer depending on the type and size of business and review it. Once our review is finished we will quickly summarise the business as we see it and any suggested improvements we propose. We can look at one or all aspects of the business – and have packages to suit all requirements.”
