RKW gives major boost to Tower cookware range

Following RKW’s acquisition of the Tower brand, the housewares distributor has added a range of cookware products to the Tower range.

RKW gives major boost to Tower cookware range

There are now 12 pressure cookers in the Tower range, including aluminium and stainless steel models. Suitable for gas, electric and induction hobs and in a range of sizes up to 7 litres, the Tower pressure cookers include visual pressure indicators, quick locking systems, steamer baskets, inner capacity markings and ergonomically designed handles.

“These sleek, new pressure cookers are totally re-engineered and re-designed to be silent and innovative,” said Steve Galbraith, housewares buying director for RKW. “They feature improved valve systems, safer locking lids and advanced features, such as easy-to-use pressure indicators, plus they’re extremely efficient and very user friendly.’

RKW is also introducing a new coating: CeraSure. This ceramic non-stick coating is heat-responsive, changing colour when the optimum cooking temperature is reached. The cookware range also includes frypans, multi-pans, casserole dishes, sauté and saucepans, from autumn 2014.

Managing director Rob Sutton said: “CeraSure is amazing. When the surface turns completely white, you’re ready to cook. And it returns to its original colour around the edge when it’s safe to clean. With CeraSure, cooking times can be cut, and energy saved, as food can be added as soon as the pan changes colour.”

RKW is also launching an extended range of Tower electrical appliances, including blenders, deep-fat fryers, frying pans, low-fat fryers, soup makers, pressure cookers, multi-cookers, food processors and ceramic grills.
