Rebrand for January’s Top Drawer and Home shows

London shows Top Drawer, Home and Craft, which are traditionally co-located at Olympia in January, have been rebranded into one event with a shared name: Top Drawer.

Alejandra Campos, event director of organiser Clarion Events explained: “Since 1984, Top Drawer has been synonymous with top quality products and innovative design. We introduced Home in 2012 and Craft in 2014 and expanded into fashion accessories and the greetings sector, which cemented the show’s unique position as the UK’s leading design-led buying event for multiple buying categories.

“Spring 2016 sees the event’s latest evolution, as we present four distinctive worlds – Home, Gift, Fashion and Craft – under one, united Top Drawer brand, creating one major destination for design-led products and buyers from all over the world. By simplifying the brand architecture, we are able to focus more on relevant content and engage fundamentally with each of the communities we represent.”

Hosting a record number of exhibitors, the next edition of Top Drawer will take place at Olympia In Kensington from January 17 to January 19. Home at Top Drawer promises to present ‘a carefully edited, global cross-section of products from the finest brands and designers’ in Interior Accessories, Kitchen & Dining, Furniture & Lighting and Outdoor Living for the Spring/Summer season.

Alessi, Authentics, Black + Blum, Bliss Home, Broste Design, Coach House, Ella Doran, Forma House, Garden Trading, Joseph Joseph, LSA International, Libra, MAKE International, One world, Pad Home, Robert Welch, Seletti, Skandium, Umbra and White Brand Agency are among over 200 Home brands already confirmed. New this year is the Food Emporium, introducing speciality and fine foods from artisans, producers and brands.

Laurence White, director of White Brand Agency, said: “Home Spring and Autumn are the only shows for us in the UK. It’s great to be surrounded by quality ‘design’ brands and we see an excellent mix of existing and new customers with very few time-wasters – a great show.”

Matthew Canwell, director of buying for 69-strong housewares chain Lakeland, added: “Home at Top Drawer has firmly established itself as a must-see show in my diary. It’s incredibly inspiring and great for new ideas.”

Clarion Events development director Ian Rudge commented: “Home at Top Drawer has developed tremendously since its launch in 2012. Buyers can now find an unrivalled homeware selection from leading international brands of the highest quality – a selection that won’t find be found at any other event in the UK.”
