Pyrex is the official sponsor of the Best Large Cookery School category of The British Cookery School Awards 2012.
Pyrex marketing manager Alex Blyth said: “As a leading brand of cookware, Pyrex stands by smart cooking. With this in mind, we’re keen to recognise culinary teams that are leading the way in different yet accessible cooking.”
The Pyrex-sponsored award will be presented to a large (four of more employees) cookery school which has successfully grown its business and offers customers a diverse range of cookery courses.
As well as the 13 core-judged categories, The British Cookery School Awards is looking for Britain’s Favourite Cookery School, voted for by the British public.
Judges include BBC Radio 2 Food & Drink presenter Nigel Barden, senior lecturer at Leeds Metropolitan University’s Centre of Hospitality and Retailing Management Guy Lincoln and Kenwood’s development chef Martin Johns. They’ll be on the hunt for cookery schools that are driving Britain’s passion for cooking quality, home-made food.
