With only four weeks until Pulse opens its doors, preparations are well under way to present the biggest show to date.
Organiser Clarion Events describes Pulse as the summer’s key design-focused gift trade show. It takes place at Earls Court in London from May 12-14, and is expected to attract more than 7,000 buyers. They will view the wares of more than 600 brands, of which over 40% are exclusive and cannot be found at any other show in the UK, says Clarion Events.
The brands are organised into five show sectors: Home, Gift, Fashion Accessories, Wellbeing and Launchpad.
Home is a showcase for more than 120 exhibitors including Haoshi Design, Block Design, Anorak, Thornback & Peel and Coulson Macleod. Names listed as offering kitchenware include Armazem, The Food Guide, Mary Fellows, Kate Samuels Design, and Le Mouton Noir & Co, while tabletop will be exhibited by Gary Birks and Wiggles & Florence.
Pulse welcomes The Prince’s Trust to the show this year. The UK’s leading youth charity will be bringing a number of designer-makers who have established their businesses with the backing of the Trust, which offers opportunities including training, personal development, business start-up support, mentoring and advice.
