Clarion Events, the organiser of trade show Pulse, has announced ‘an extremely positive start’ to the exhibition’s marketing campaign, with strong interest demonstrated by visitor registrations tracking well ahead of 2012.
The London event, which specialises in design-focused gifts and homewares, will be held from May 12 to May 14 at Earls Court. The timing has been moved from June to May to position the show closer to Easter, helping buyers refresh stock earlier in the year.
Show director Raj Gill said: “With our new show dates being brought forward by a month to May, we have been working harder than ever to position Pulse as the destination for retailers to discover never-seen-before products and trends.
He added: “With market confidence on the up, I am extremely confident that we are on track for the best Pulse show to-date.”
This is a reference to the findings of research (conducted by independent research agency Data Know How) which suggest that retailer confidence in the market is returning. 91% retailers expect retail market performance over the next 12 months to be equal to, or better, than in 2012.
Pulse will present more than 600 brands, of which over 40% are exclusive and cannot be found at any other show in the UK. These will be brought together across five zones: Home, Gift, Fashion Accessories, Wellbeing and Launchpad.
