ProCook posts 124% growth in cast iron casserole sales

ProCook has reported ‘phenomenal growth’ for its cast iron cookware range, with sales of casseroles up 124% year-on year.

The housewares chain attributes this performance to a ‘highly competitive price point alongside a wider trend towards cast iron cooking’.

In response, the specialist retailer has added three colours to its premium cast iron range: a graduated blue and graduated grey – both topped with stainless steel handles – and a matte black with brass finish handles. There is a choice of four different sizes and shapes in each colourway.

Machine-cast with an enamel coating inside and out, the British designed range carries a 25 year guarantee and is priced from £39 for a 20cm round casserole to £69 for a 30cm oval casserole.

Founded over 20 years ago, ProCook’s mission is to offer high quality housewares with savings of up to 50% compared with other leading brands, achieved by producing and delivering products direct to the customer with no middleman.

ProCook designs and manufactures around 1,500 exclusive products that span the cookware, kitchen accessories and tableware categories. It is headquartered in Gloucestershire and trades from 35 stores in the UK and online at procook.com.
