ProCook celebrates award nomination

Specialist housewares retailer ProCook is celebrating after being shortlisted for a gong at the Direct Commerce Awards 2016.

The awards ceremony, organised by Direct Commerce Magazine and supported by the Direct Commerce Association, takes place at the exclusive Hurlingham Club in London on Thursday.

Launched in 1998, the awards programme is viewed as a benchmark for excellence within the multichannel retail calendar; attracting brands in the catalogue, home shopping and direct commerce sectors.

Previous winners include Boden, Naked Wines, Notonthehighstreet.com, Thompson & Morgan, Laithwaites, Worldstores, The Original Gift Company, Charles Tyrwhitt, Findel Education, Bombay Duck and House of Bath.

ProCook, which has 23 stores nationwide, will line up alongside big-name brands like Lakeland and Direct365 for the highly-coveted awards.

ProCook founder Daniel O’Neill said: ‘Being nominated for an award really illustrates how hard we work at ProCook to deliver excellent products at unbeatable prices.

“This is a fantastic achievement for everyone at ProCook and highlights the high standards of customer service and product development to which we adhere.”

ProCook recently celebrated its most profitable year on record, posting a 20% increase in sales and comparable growth of 29%.

ProCook began 20 years ago and supplies kitchenware products for up for 50% less than other leading brands. It is headquartered in Gloucester and has stores throughout Great Britain.
