Sir Philip Green is reportedly in talks to sell off some of his Bhs stores.
According to The Independent on Sunday, the retail magnate could be looking to sell some of the clothing-to-homewares shops to Primark. The value clothing retailer bought 10 Bhs outlets last year.
Sir Philip wants to offload some of the Bhs stores as part of a cost-cutting exercise across his Arcadia Group retail brands. It was reported last year that the group was reviewing its property portfolio.
Several hundred of the stores’ leases are due to expire over the next few years, and it is also expected that this will see a number of them close.
