Prestige promises tastier, healthier roasting

The new Ultimate Chicken Roaster from Meyer’s Prestige brand introduces a new approach to roasting just in time for Christmas.

Prestige promises tastier, healthier roasting

Prestige says that chickens cooked using the roaster are tastier because it retains up to 26% more moisture, resulting in a more succulent bird.

The resulting dish is also healthier because the roaster collects up to 21% more fats and oils than usual roasting can. And the product reduces cooking time by up to 21 minutes too, again removing the risk of dry chicken.

For a fuss-free roast and minimal washing up, the Ultimate Roaster has a Whitford non-stick coating. A well allows fat to accumulate ready for pouring or saving via the integral pouring corners, while ridges in the roaster’s base allow potatoes and vegetables to be cooked below the chicken.

Side handles make for easy carrying, and the stainless steel tube can be removed and replaced with a cap to convert the product into a conventional roaster.
